                                                                                                                        8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

                                                                                                       Occasional evenings and weekends

Position Summary

Implements the program services to long-term participants to include home visits, networking with agencies, and processing applications for the Housing and Outreach programs; provides oversight for the following services in assigned county: Emergency Assistance, Emergency Home Improvement, School Readiness, and Christmas Baskets.

 

Education Requirements

High School or GED plus up to 18 months of additional education beyond the high school level.

 

Experience Requirements

1 - 2 years of job related experience or the equivalent combination of education and experience.

 

Physical Requirements

Physically able to frequently reach, push, pull, bend, stoop, stretch, stand, walk and occasionally lift 50 pounds maximum from floor to waist; occasionally lift 25 pounds maximum from waist to shoulder height; occasionally lift 25 pounds maximum shoulder height to overhead; occasionally carry 50 pounds a distance of 25 feet; able to get in and out of vehicles several times daily and drive four hours per day sometimes with manual steering, standard shift, and various sized vehicles; ability to read maps; have good visual acuity with corrective lenses and good hearing capabilities. Possess a valid Kentucky driver's license; able to obtain and maintain CAP driving certification; and maintain a safe driving record.

 

Working Conditions

Exposure to: fertilizers and seeds which may be chemically treated; unpleasant and unsanitary conditions, communicable diseases; extreme heat and cold weather conditions; and smoking in participant homes.
